Girls Hockey Camps
North Toronto Arena · Ages 7-12
Camp Overview
Back for Summer 2027, our Girls Hockey Camp is led by a team of all star female coaches and built for girls currently playing at the Rep and Houseleague levels. Campers get two full hours on the ice every day working through powerskating, stickhandling, shooting, and passing, then take those skills straight into small-area games designed to translate development into real game situations.
The Girls Camp runs alongside our regular hockey camp at North Toronto Arena, which means campers share the wider camp environment, off-ice activities, and daily competitions while keeping their own dedicated ice times, coaching staff, and training groups.
NEW Hockey Programming
This summer, our Girls Hockey Camp is moving to a more skill-focused format. Each daily ice session centres on traditional skill development drills for skating, stickhandling, shooting, and passing, with coaches giving campers detailed feedback as they work on new skills through the week. Small-area games are still part of every session, so those skills get used at game speed.
Off the ice, campers do dryland training, speed and agility work, and some light hockey skills (weather permitting), mixed in with multi-sport play to stay active and have fun.
At NT Arena, we also build in swimming time to cool off at the North Toronto Community Centre outdoor pool twice per week (weather permitting). It is a great way to reset between sessions, stay refreshed, and make the most of summer.
Demand for this camp has grown every year and our 2026 weeks filled quickly, so we have expanded the 2027 schedule with additional weeks across July and August. For a full breakdown of our hockey programming, explore our programs.

Guest Coach Spotlight
Our 2026 Guest Coach
Emma Woods
Emma Woods is a professional hockey forward from Burlington, Ontario, and a current PWHL forward with the Toronto Sceptres. Emma developed her game through the Canadian minor hockey system before advancing to the NCAA Division I level with the Quinnipiac Bobcats, where she was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team and served as team captain during her senior year. Following her NCAA career, Emma played in the Canadian Women's Hockey League and the National Women's Hockey League with the Toronto Six. In 2023, she made her PWHL debut with the New York Sirens before joining the Sceptres in 2024.
Emma joined us at North Toronto Arena throughout Summer 2026 and the response from our campers and families was outstanding. Skating alongside a professional player, asking questions between drills, and hearing firsthand what it takes to compete at the highest level of women's hockey was one of the most memorable parts of the week for our campers.
Our Celebrity Guest Coach program returns for Summer 2027 with appearances at North Toronto Arena during select weeks. Details on this year's guest coach will be announced soon.
