Summer Hockey Camps

North Toronto Arena · St. Mike's Arena

Program Overview

Beat the summer heat with a week on the ice. Our Summer Hockey Camps at North Toronto Arena and St. Michael's College School Arena give every camper two full hours of on-ice development each day, led by experienced, energetic coaches. Prior hockey experience is required.

  • Junior Hockey Camp (Ages 5-7) — built around fun. Ice time runs on games-based learning: skating races, puck-handling challenges, and small-area games that keep every camper moving and touching the puck. Skills are introduced through play rather than drills, so young players build balance, edges, and confidence without ever feeling like they are in a lesson.
  • Senior Hockey Camp (Ages 8-12) — built for competitive players. Sessions move quickly through structured progressions in power skating, stickhandling, shooting, and passing, then apply them under pressure in small-area games that reward quick decisions and smart puck movement. Campers are grouped by ability so competitive players are pushed alongside peers at their level.

NEW For 2027 – Off-Ice Hockey Development

This season we are adding a full off-ice hockey component to our Senior Hockey Camp and Girls Hockey Camp. Alongside their daily ice time, campers work through dedicated stickhandling and shooting stations, dryland training, edge and agility work, and position-specific instruction. The result is a true skills development program: more time on the puck, more reps, and more measurable progress across the week. Junior Hockey Camp keeps its games-based format, with off-ice time spent on multi-sport play and coordination games suited to ages 5-7.

At NT Arena, we also build in water time to cool off twice per week (weather permitting). Junior Hockey Camp enjoys the Eglinton Park Splash Pad, while Senior Hockey Camp enjoys the North Toronto Community Centre outdoor pool. It is a great way to reset between sessions, stay refreshed, and make the most of summer.

For female hockey players, we also offer a Girls Hockey Camp at North Toronto Arena, featuring an all star roster of female coaches, its own dedicated ice times, and training groups built for girls playing Rep and Houseleague. Spots fill up very fast! See the full schedule →
